United Way of Greater Niagara to host 9th annual meeting & awards breakfast

United Way of Greater Niagara will host its ninth annual meeting and awards breakfast on Friday, April 12, at the Wurlitzer Event Center, 908 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda. The event will celebrate the organization's 2018 annual campaign, which raised over $1 million to support 46 programs provided by 29 different agencies in Niagara County.
Higgins & Stefanik to serve as co-chairs of Northern Border Caucus

This event will provide an opportunity for participants to properly shred and recycle important documents following tax season. Jacobs calls for increase in EPF funding

Republican New York State Sen. Chris Jacobs has joined with local elected officials in calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo and legislative leaders to include an increase in the state's Environmental Protection Fund in the final state budget. The EPF was created in 1993 to provide funding for broad categories of projects related to solid waste, parks and recreation and open space. Jacobs is seeking to grow the fund from $300 million to $350 million this year.
