As the April 1 deadline for approval of New York state's final budget nears, Senate Republican Leader Rob Ortt and members of the Senate Republican conference were joined Thursday by Congressman Lee Zeldin in calling on Gov. Niagara County clerk: Driver's license expiration extended again

Niagara County Clerk Joseph Jastrzemski on Wednesday said Gov. Andrew Cuomo has issued executive order 202.97, which extends the expiration dates on licenses and permits that expired after March 1, 2020, to April 16, 2021. At this time, all transactions must be done by appointment only, although Jastrzemski said his office is working to change that next month.
