Niagara County: Driver's license expiration extended again

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski on Tuesday said Gov. Andrew Cuomo has issued executive order 202.87, which extends the expiration dates on licenses and permits that expired after March 1, 2020, to Jan. 29, 2021. In addition, the executive order also continues to require all in-person transactions at DMVs be done by appointment only.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo recently signed legislation (S.6829/A.8829-A) banning the "most harmful uses" of trichloroethylene, or TCE, a toxic chemical used in industrial and commercial processes. The legislation bans TCE's use as a vapor degreaser, an intermediate chemical in the production of other chemicals, a refrigerant, an extraction solvent or in any other manufacturing or industrial cleaning process or use.

The outpatient clinic is designed for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 10 days, and are 65 years of age or older or have other chronic medical conditions that could lead to hospitalization.
