The Town of Lewiston Recreation Department reports it is now taking applications for rentals at the Lewiston Family Ice Rink for December and January of this winter. "Days available are very limited. Rentals can be used for any type of party or approved ice activity, including birthday parties," said Mike Dashineau, town parks and recreation director.

State awards $500K grant to Niagara Falls Memorial for innovative senior citizen program

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has been awarded a $500,000, three-year grant from the New York State Office of Mental Health to operate a "Get Well/Stay Well" program to serve seniors residing in the Niagara community.
