While YMCA Buffalo Niagara's "Turkey Trot" is officially sold out, organizers still need help in making this event a success. Specifically, volunteers are needed the morning of the race, Thursday, Nov. 28, to help control traffic at intersections to ensure the safety of participants; in the chute area helping to keep the crowd moving; and at the buses to help with the orderly loading and unloading of participants.

Interested parties can find out more information or sign up at www.ymcaturkeytrot.org. Thanks to more than 400 volunteers, organizers can host this event for more than 14,000 Western New Yorkers each year.
