North Tonawanda Clerk/Treasurer Daniel R. Quinn announced Tuesday he will seek a full term for the office in this year's upcoming election, vowing a renewed emphasis on streamlining delivery of services to city residents as the centerpiece of his bid for office.

Current city Alderman-at-Large Robert Pecoraro announced June 5 he will seek his first full term on the North Tonawanda Common Council. Pecoraro was named to the council in February, after Malcolm Needler resigned to become the part-time Niagara County personnel officer.

The Niagara County Peach Queen Program is looking forward to Sept. 13, when the 2015-16 Peach Queen will be crowned and will receive a generous $4,000 scholarship from the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston. The amount has nearly doubled from the scholarship amount last year's recipient won.
