Lewiston-Porter Air Force Junior ROTC will host its third annual Cadets vs. Faculty basketball game on Friday, March 9, at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. The money raised by the cadets during the game will be used for an April field trip to Fort Drum. The Lewiston-Porter Players in Progress will perform and the cadets will hold a basket raffle and sell concessions during the game.

Board of Education: Possible budget reductions discussed

At the Monday evening meeting of the Grand Island Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Robert Christmann gave trustees a list of possible reductions in spending for the proposed 2012-13 budget.
