Telescopes will be scanning the skies at the Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center in Hamburg on Saturday, Oct. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. Telescopes, with filters, will be available to view sunspots and solar flares before sunset. After dark, telescopes will focus on the Penn Dixie Skies to view a first-quarter moon, Jupiter and Uranus in the east, the famous double-star cluster in Perseus, E.T. star cluster, and a variety of other constellations.

Many older adults say they don't exercise because they don't have the strength and stamina for it. But this is a vicious cycle. The lack of physical activity actually causes older adults to lose even more of their strength and stamina.
