Ceretto votes to enact property tax cap

Assemblyman John Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, voted on Monday in favor of an amendment that would bring property tax cap legislation, passed earlier this year by the State Senate, to the Assembly floor for an up or down vote. The bill, which Ceretto supported, would cap property tax increases at 2 percent.
Lew-Port announces universal pre-kindergarten registration

The Lewiston-Porter Central School District and YMCA Buffalo Niagara are conducting their annual universal pre-kindergarten application process for students who will be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, and who are not eligible for kindergarten. There is no charge to enroll a child in this program.

O'Reilly, who was introduced by Donald Trump, served as keynote speaker for the third annual "Justice is Served" benefit and entertained the crowd with his political banter, as well as expressing his support for the work being done by the It Happened to Alexa Foundation.
