The Niagara Falls Historic Preservation Society will sponsor a tour of the historic Hotel Niagara in Niagara Falls, Wednesday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Open to the public, visitors will have an opportunity to see the interior of the 1924 vintage hotel, view historic photos, listen to oral histories and get a sneak peak at the possibilities for the hotel's future as it awaits restoration by a new owner.
"We are requesting people come and share any memories they have about the Hotel Niagara. You can write them down before coming, or, we will record your thoughts during your visit. This may be your last chance to see the inside while we await restoration by a new owner," says Mary Ann Rolland of the NFHPS.
An admission of $5 will be charged to cover insurance costs.
