Artpark's Fairy House Festival a hit with kids

Generally speaking, it's adults who can't wait to visit Artpark for a concert or special event. But not this Sunday. It's then that children from across Western New York will descend into the Village of Lewiston for the first "Fairy House Festival."
New Frontier House proposal to be presented at Planning Board meeting

Developer Richard Hastings, attorney John Bartolomei and EI Team President Hormoz Mansouri, the principals behind the historic Frontier House building on Center Street, are expected to present a new proposal to the Village of Lewiston Planning Board on Monday, June 13. Village officials have recently met with the building's owners, and expect to receive a plan that is similar to the one presented to trustees in the first quarter of 2008.
Free Henry! ready to 'Rock the Park'

Free Henry! headlines Artpark's official summer concert kick off Monday, June 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Outdoor Amphitheater. The free "Rock the Park" concert will also feature Aqueous and The Little Mountain Band as openers. Free Henry! nabbed the No. 1 spot in Artpark's "Rock the Park" local band contest that was held on the venue's website for the duration of summer 2010.

Dolvett Quince, an accomplished trainer who has been helping people get fit and healthy for 10 years, will bring his fitness expertise to "The Biggest Loser" as the show's newest trainer. Quince, whose clients have included teen superstar Justin Bieber, will train contestants along with "Biggest Loser" veteran Bob Harper and renowned tennis star and certified trainer Anna Kournikova. Season 12 begins shooting this week in southern California and will begin airing in September on NBC.
