Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict against Gregory M. Pearson, age 34, of Niagara Falls, this afternoon after deliberating for less than two hours. Pearson was convicted of seven counts of predatory sexual assault against a child committed in Niagara Falls in the years 2017 through 2021.

Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announced 53-year-old Demetrius F. Gore of Buffalo pleaded guilty yesterday afternoon before Erie County Court Judge Susan Eagan to one count of assault in the second degree (class "D" felony) for his involvement in an attack that resulted in serious physical injuries to the victim.

The Health Association of Niagara County will host the annual "Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park, Celebrating Older Americans." There is no charge to attend for Niagara County residents.
