Fri, May 24th 2024 11:00 am

The Lewiston Council on the Arts will present “A Night at the Opera” with Niagara Opera Company and featuring Rising Stars of Tomorrow. The event will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Castellani Art Museum on the Niagara University campus.

“A Night at the Opera” will be conducted by Brent Chancellor. Performers include Ghalip Ekber, Hannah Moreno, S Joshua Sheppard and Carolina Sullivan. Patrons can enjoy a gala concert of opera's greatest hits, followed by a meet-the-artists reception with appetizers and drinks on the outdoor portico.

LCA Executive Director Maria Fortuna Dean said, “The Lewiston Council on the Arts is excited to present these wonderful young performers in an intimate setting. To be able to experience opera ‘up close and personal’ is thrilling, moving, emotional – and fun!”

Chancellor concurred: “We’ve gotten used to being separate; this is a chance to be in a beautiful space together, sit back and enjoy some gorgeous music.”

Tickets are $75 (all-inclusive), with discounts for LCA members. Purchase through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com/e/856993419387?aff=oddtdtcreator.
