Univera Healthcare accepting Community Health Award applications

Nonprofit organizations in Western New York can apply for Univera Healthcare's Community Health Awards, which the company is offering to help fund health and wellness programs in the region. The application period opened Thursday and closes Monday, March 17. Applicants can submit for award applications up to $5,000.

ECDOH updates COVID-19 testing options

The Erie County Department of Health is reminding Erie County residents they can seek free coronavirus testing. ECDOH has updated its procedures to make rapid (ID Now) testing available to any resident on request. Previously, rapid testing was only available from ECDOH for individuals with COVID-19 symptoms or those with a known exposure.

Hilbert College awarded record-setting grant for second consecutive year

Hilbert College was awarded a $523,625 grant from The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation. This grant has surpassed last year's grant from the foundation ($500,000), and is the largest foundation grant in Hilbert's history.
