In reality, neither the automobile nor the escrow company exists - leaving the buyer without their money or a vehicle.

Singer/Songwriter Andrew Farriss celebrates the 30th anniversary of the multi-Platinum-selling album "X," released on this day 30 years ago (Sept. 25, 1990) from the world-renowned band INXS. Farriss, a founding member of the band, played keyboard and provided backing vocals and other instrumentation. With INXS, he has sold over 60 million records, received multiple Grammy nominations, and an induction into the ARIA Hall Of Fame in 2001. "X" was INXS' seventh studio album.

Last Friday, the United Way of Greater Niagara announced the start of its 2020 fundraising campaign at the Four Points Sheridan Hotel in Niagara Falls. The organization says this year's campaign, which will run through Nov. 30, is more critical than ever as community groups continue to struggle with the effects of COVID-19. Funds raised throughout will continue to support 29 agencies focused on a spectrum of human services throughout the Niagara Region.
