Country music superstar Blake Shelton is fourth and final musician coach on 'The Voice'

NBC has named country music's Male Vocalist of The Year Blake Shelton as the fourth and final musician coach of "The Voice," a new musical competition series premiering on Tuesday, April 26 (9-11 p.m. ET). Shelton joins previously announced musician coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine.

Niagara University names Dr. Timothy Downs vice president for academic affairs

Niagara University announces Timothy M. Downs, Ph.D. has been appointed vice president of academic affairs at the university following a nationwide search. Downs possesses more than 25 years of experience in higher education and currently serves as the dean of the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences at Gannon University, a Catholic university located in Erie, Pa. He will assume his new position at Niagara on June 13.

For the first time in Lewiston-Porter High School history, four students advanced to the New York State Public High School Sports Association Wrestling Championships at Times Union Center in Albany. Following an 18-3 overall season - a successful run for the team - Ryan Kromer, Dan Reagan, Joe Hill and Bashar Srouji represented Lew-Port at the Section VI wrestling tournament last weekend.
