Ceretto: Budget has 'power' to change economy of WNY

Assemblyman John Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, today helped pass part of what he calls a fiscally responsible, on-time state budget, laying the foundation for a stronger statewide economy and helping Western New York families. Ceretto positively noted that the final budget would create the new Western New York Power Allocation Board.

Carol Calato, board chair of the Lewiston Jazz Festival, has announced that the organization will host its annual fundraiser, "Jazz & Pasta," on Sunday, April 29, at Water Street Landing.

The 2012 event will include jazz, pastas from area restaurants, a cash bar and a Chinese auction.
