Grisanti announces youth job fair for graduating high school seniors

Today is the last day for employers to register

State Sen. Mark Grisanti today announced his participation of a free Youth Express Job Fair at Erie Community College in Orchard Park. This is an opportunity for graduating seniors in Western New York to meet employers who have part-time and seasonal jobs available for this summer or next year.

High school seniors will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of skills workshops along other essential ways to help procure employment.

Grisanti's office will offer a PowerPoint presentation for students.  The presentation will feature how to effectively search for jobs on the Web, tips and tricks for making a good first impression, and a Q-and-A session. 

Additionally, the presentation will help students navigate through Grisanti's "Jobs Resource Center."

WHAT: Youth Express Job Fair sponsored by Erie Community College, Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Development Consortium Youth 

WHEN: April 19, 3 to 6 p.m.

WHERE: Erie Community College One-Stop, 3176 Abbott Road, Orchard Park

WHO: All graduating high school seniors who are 18 years of age or older

Applicants must present updated resume and arrive dressed for an interview
