The Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS Inc. presented a special award from the National Association of REALTORS to six members for 40 years of service to the real estate industry. The awards were presented at a luncheon at the Westwood Country Club earlier this month.

Honorees this year were Ann Diana Bishara from Bishara Realty; James Eagan from Gurney, Becker & Bourne; Joseph Jayson from Homemark Realty; and Beverly James, Joan Frank and Gerald Wright from Realty USA. Attending the event to share congratulations were 25 past award honorees.

NAR and BNAR have honored a total of 75 individuals throughout the years. Awardees were presented with a genuine, 10K gold-filled lapel pin from the National Association of REALTORS. The pins are worn with pride by the Realtors to show their dedication to the real estate profession.

"BNAR is proud to honor these individuals. Their passion and commitment to the real estate industry for so many years makes them remarkable role models," said John B. Leonardi, CEO of BNAR. "Our recipients join the ranks of the elite group of REALTORS throughout the entire United States."

The Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS is one of more than 1,300 local boards and associations that comprise the National Association of REALTORS. As the nation's largest trade association, NAR is "The Voice for Real Estate," representing more than one million members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry.
