NORLIC awarded $1.4M grant by Housing Trust Fund

The Niagara Orleans Regional Land Improvement Corp. (NORLIC) - often referred to as the Land Bank - has been awarded a $1.4 million grant by the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corp. and NYS Homes and Community Renewal. NORLIC had submitted an application for the competitive grant program earlier this year.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced a jury has found 28-year-old Daiquin Gray of Buffalo guilty of one count of murder in the second degree (class "A-I" felony), one count of robbery in the first degree (class "B" violent felony), and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (class "C" violent felony). Jurors rendered their decision this afternoon after approximately two hours of deliberation following a four-day trial.
