Youngstown Yacht Club to host open house

The Youngstown Yacht Club will host its annual membership open house from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the club, located at 491 Water St.

Open to anyone in the community who may be interested in joining as either a regular, associate or junior member, the event will provide an opportunity to learn about all the benefits of membership.

"I have been sailing at YYC since childhood and, to me, YYC is so much more than a club for sailors; it is a really great place to enjoy fun social activities and spend time with family and friends," said Ashley Daigneau, a YYC member.

In addition, attendees can meet the board of directors, tour the facilities and grounds, and, of course take in the view.
