Niagara University's Holzschuh College of Business Administration has been awarded a $500,000 Higher Education Capital Matching Grant for the construction of a facility to house the Centers for Food Industry Innovation and Supply Chain Excellence. The facility, which will be located in Bisgrove Hall, will include an innovation hub, a classroom of the future, and a business technology lab.

At approximately 10:50 p.m. Monday, the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Pine Avenue to check the welfare of a man sitting in a pickup truck. Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old male, sitting in the driver seat, unresponsive. Niagara Falls Fire Department and AMR responded to render aid, at which time it was determined that the victim had been shot.

Niagara County Social Services Commissioner Meghan Lutz announced the 2023-24 Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) application window will open Wednesday, Nov. 1, with a streamlined application process. On Sept. 28, at approximately 22:27 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office communications center received a radio transmission from Deputy Kenny, an off-duty Niagara County Sheriff's Office deputy, reporting a motor vehicle accident with serious injury at the intersection of Lockport-Cambria Townline Road and Upper Mountain Road in the Town of Cambria.
