After-hours event tailored to varying sensitivities and abilities
Families impacted by autism spectrum disorder are invited to visit the Aquarium of Niagara from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, to enjoy special programming in a supportive environment.
This event is Halloween-themed, and guests are encouraged to come in costume to join in the celebration. While at the Aquarium, guests can participate in a spooky scavenger hunt, watch a sea lion presentation, touch sharks and stingrays at M&T Bank Shark & Ray Bay, interact with sensory stations, enjoy snacks and complete crafts.
This semiannual event is made possible through a partnership with The Arc Erie County, Buffalo State University, and several community partners.
Family admission (up to five people) is $25, while an individual group home resident will pay $7, and the group home staff chaperone will be admitted free. Capacity is limited and advance booking is required. For tickets, visit: https://aquariumofniagara.org/experiences/ausome-aquarium/.
The Aquarium of Niagara is located at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls.
