The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 3-1 is offering an 'About Boating Safely" one-day class taught by Coast Guard-certified instructors. The course runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, March 23, April 27, May 18 and July 13, at the Officers Club of Fort Niagara in Youngstown, plus June 22 at Lewiston No. 2 Fire Co.

Season to date "The Blacklist" is averaging a 1.2 rating in adults 18-49 and 7.3 million viewers overall in "live plus seven day" ratings from Nielsen Media Research. It's been a strong performer in delayed viewing, growing by 119 percent, going from "live plus same day" to L+7 Nielsens in adults 18-49 (from a 0.57 rating to a 1.25) and by 3.4 million persons (3.9 million to 7.3 million).

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority has awarded Calspan Air Services, a subsidiary of Calspan Holdings, the contract to continue operating as the fixed base operator (FBO) for the Niagara Falls International Airport. The Lancers historic season came to a close with an 87-55 loss in the Far West Regionals.
