Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday announced that, in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, New York will host a virtual town hall and a weeklong series of listening sessions with state agencies to discuss issues impacting the AAPI community. State agencies will also launch a multiagency social media campaign throughout the month of May to celebrate and spread awareness about Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with #NYSCelebratesAAPI.

"American Idol" is back with a live coast-to-coast episode, as the top seven contestants perform two songs each on Sunday, May 9 (8-10 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
