For over four decades, Artpark has been a unique destination for new and experimental statements of art, nature and performance. In keeping with that idea this summer, Artpark & Company has announced a concert featuring two visually stunning outdoor spectacles: William Close & The Earth Harp Collective, and "Big Bang" by the French performance group Plasticiens Volants. The show will conclude the 2017 season on Saturday, Sept. 2.

American Niagara Hospitality announced plans at the Niagara Falls City Council meeting on Monday for a "game-changing" development to be located at Niagara's premier location at Old Falls Street and Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. ANH plans call for a $50-million, 200-room, upscale, all-suite hotel, along with a $20 million daredevil-themed waterpark.

The contest featured artwork from two local schools demonstrating their vision of Earth Day. Students created murals on Dumpsters in the Military Road parking lot.
