National Grid's winter heating season forecast calls for its Western New York residential electric customers to see electricity bills that are approximately 6.9 percent lower than last year, assuming a typical winter. The lower bills are based on forecasted decreases in wholesale supply prices during the Nov. 1 through March 31 winter heating season.

It's been a crazy year for the Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons football team. From wins, losses, tiebreakers and a death close to the team, the team has seen a mixture of everything. On Thursday night, the team ended it's fall campaign with a fulfilling sense of closure.
The Falcons defeated Williamsville East in the Class A Chuck Funke Bowl finals, 22-8.
