Joining nearly 1,500 Western New Yorkers of all ages, we ended a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in spectacular fashion by participating in the weekly Slow Roll Buffalo 10-mile bike tour of city neighborhoods. Held each Monday, these free rides are open to everyone of all ages and all skill levels who are riding every type of bicycle.

Roughly 350 seniors from across Niagara County took part in the 16th annual Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park Thursday at Veterans Memorial Community Park in the Town of Niagara. The free event offered seniors, 55 and up, a choice of four walking courses, each of them a different distance.

Empire State Development announced a community screening of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" was held in Buffalo, giving fans there a chance to see the car chases, explosions and wild helicopter rides that were filmed along Buffalo's Kensington Expressway in advance of the film's theatrical release.
