Visitors to Old Fort Niagara's "Soldiers Through the Ages" on Memorial Day weekend had the opportunity of a lifetime with rides offered aboard a fully restored Vietnam War-era Huey.
Members of the American Huey 369 Museum of Peru, Indiana, together with Lake Ontario VFW Post 313 in Youngstown, teamed up to host the Huey event as a means of paying tribute to the nation's servicemen and women who served in the Vietnam War. Visitors of all ages were able to experience the fully restored open-air military helicopter first hand - with rides providing dazzling views of northern Niagara - making for a memorable experience.
