Canisius College will host "The American President," an exhibit of presidential photos taken by Associated Press photographers over the past 150 years, from Tuesday, Nov. 13, through Friday, Nov. 30, on the first floor of the Andrew L. Bowhuis Library. The exhibit is sponsored by the Department of Communication Studies and The Journalism Program at Canisius.

A Love Canal community meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 15. The meeting will be held at the Frontier Volunteer Fire Hall at 2176 Liberty Drive, Niagara Falls. Assemblyman John Ceretto applauded Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday for approving a plan that will provide assistance to the City of Niagara Falls to help address budget issues related to an ongoing casino-revenue dispute between New York and the Seneca Nation. Ceretto said Niagara Falls received approximately $18 million a year in casino revenue as a host city before the dispute and is currently owed more than $60 million.
