'Psych' presents 'Clue'-themed 100th episode

PSYCH-O's, the time has finally come. Tonight at 10 p.m., the USA Network will air the 100th episode of "Psych." The storyline pays homage to the classic '80s "whodunit" "Clue," and features cameos from Christopher Lloyd, Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull. Additional guest stars include Curt Smith of Tears For Fears, Steve Valentine and Garrett Morris.
Lewiston Civic Center submitted for Greenway funding

The Niagara River Greenway Commission announced Tuesday that the public comment period has opened for the 33rd round of projects. Included for consistency review is a submission for the Town of Lewiston Civic Center and one from the Lewiston-Porter School District for the Lewiston-Porter Recreational Center complex phase II.

Details on these and other project submissions are now posted on the Greenway website, http://www.niagaragreenway.org. The public comment period is now under way and will remain open with comments accepted until Tuesday, April 30.

LCTV orientation session

Lockport Community Television will hold its next orientation session at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, at its studio, 293 Niagara St., Lockport. Attendees can receive training using LCTV's new, high-definition portable equipment, which volunteers can use to produce their own programs.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center staff plans to picket

Employees of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center voted overwhelmingly last Thursday to authorize their negotiating committee to plan a picket of the hospital if negotiations failed to achieve a settlement by week's end. When talks failed to progress last Friday, the employee committee notified the hospital that staff would picket on April 3 if no agreement was reached by that date.
CBS, Lionsgate enter 50/50 partnership on highly distributed entertainment cable network

CBS Corp. and Lionsgate announced late Tuesday that the companies have entered into a 50/50 partnership for the highly distributed entertainment cable network TVGN and the website TVGuide.com. The basic cable network, available in more than 80 million homes, will continue to be entertainment-focused, with a specific rebranding and programming strategy to be announced at a later date.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced a new campaign aimed at preventing bullying by educating and spreading awareness of its harmful effects to children and young adults in Western New York. The campaign, which is a partnership between the Sabres and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children/New York Regional Office, is comprised of a series of anti-bullying videos featuring Sabres players, and two educational events in April and May that will further spread the anti-bullying message of the campaign.
