The period between Christmas and Jan. 5, 2011, will see a major event in the Buffalo metro area as the Queen City gets set to host the World Junior Games. The best junior-aged players in the world will converge on Western New York over the 10-day period for national bragging rights.

Time Warner Cable announced this week that the NHL Network will televise select games from the 2011 IBHF U20 World Junior Hockey Championships, which start this weekend in Buffalo. Included are all of Team USA's games and the medal round.
