Cataract City Classic ends with a bang

The final day of the Cataract City Classic could not have finished any better. Each game on Saturday was action-packed and close the entire way, as the biggest defeat was by 12 points. Some of the best athletes from Western New York, as well as the Rochester area, came to the "Wolvarena" at Niagara Falls High School and did not disappoint the loud and energetic fans.

Having three approved - out of this year's nearly 13,000 submissions - is "humbling and beyond my expectations," says Dr. Vince Rinaldo, who will make a trio of presentations next April 27-May 1 in San Antonio, the site of AERA's 2017 annual meeting.

The 2016 Niagara Falls High School football team finished the season with a 7-2 record. The team had a record year defensively, and was always a big threat to make huge plays on offense. The leader and catalyst of that offense was senior quarterback Jhamir Isom. His poise, athleticism and leadership were all key to the Wolverines season.
