Jennifer Gallo, a senior communication studies major at Niagara University, received the May C. Randazzo Memorial Scholarship from the Buffalo/Niagara chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Gallo was presented with the award during the organization's annual meeting held Nov. 16 at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Buffalo.

"Jennifer has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the field of public relations through her leadership, scholarship and community service. She is truly deserving of this high honor," said Dr. Joseph M. Sirianni, associate professor of communication studies and co-adviser of the Public Relations Student Society of Niagara.
