AT&T's 'It Can Wait' virtual reality simulator showcases dangers of distracted driving as part of AAA's '100 Deadliest Days'

New York State Sens. Chris Jacobs and Michael Ranzenhofer, AAA Western and Central New York, New York State Police and AT&T teamed up Thursday to raise awareness for AAA's "100 Deadliest Days" (the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day when teen crash fatalities historically climb 15 percent compared to the rest of the year), as well as AT&T's "It Can Wait" public education campaign and state distracted driving laws.

Construction continued this week on an all-new offering at Bandana's Bar and Grill in Youngstown. To be known as the "Courtyard at Bandana's," the new outdoor facility, found in the rear of the Lake Road establishment, is expected to offer patrons a completely different social and dining experience, according to owners Rob and Melissa Kudel.

When I was putting my Sentinel story together today, I wanted to sit on the sun porch in the front of the house so I could watch my land wash away. This is due to the extremely high Lake Ontario water levels the IJC has been telling us is only 2 inches above normal levels. (No kidding, that's what we were told.) I opted to sit in the rear of the house; no distractions.
