Gov. Kathy Hochul announced $4 million in federal funding to support underrepresented students entering or enrolled in mental health degree programs at State University of New York or City University of New York campuses. Gov. Kathy Hochul on Thursday announced Rosina Food Products Inc. has completed a $73.2 million expansion, adding a facility in West Seneca. The new, multimillion-dollar plant will produce a variety of meat products for the fast-growing food manufacturer, and will create 40 new jobs and retain 500 jobs.

The Buffalo Sewer Authority is continuing to repair a sewer line that collapsed earlier this week beneath Genesee Street in downtown Buffalo. Due to that work, Genesee Street remains closed between Washington and East Huron streets, and East Huron Street is closed between Main and Washington streets. Motorists are asked to use West Mohawk Street as a detour around the impacted area.
