CEPA receives $17,114 grant from Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation

The Center for Exploratory & Perceptual Arts has received $17,114 from the Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation. These funds will be dedicated to enhancing and expanding upon Alternative Perspectives, CEPA's program for individuals on the autism spectrum. Through photography workshops and hands-on training for individuals on the spectrum, CEPA will serve more than 40 individuals on the spectrum.

DOT announces successful statewide 'Trash Blitz'

New York State Department of Transportation Commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez announced 1,650 department maintenance employees and office staff participated in a "Trash Blitz" across the state to commemorate Earth Day 2022, and encourage motorists to properly dispose of trash. New York to host 2025 world canals conference

Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday announced New York state was selected by Inland Waterways International as the host of the 2025 World Canals Conference, an event that brings together hundreds of canal and inland waterway enthusiasts, professionals and scholars from around the world to learn about a variety of topics related to canals. The 2025 conference will be held in Buffalo as the state commemorates the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal's opening there in 1825.
Office of Mental Health: $1M grant to expand youth mental health first aid training across NYS
