A pre-election "Red Tide Rising Rally" headlined by former adviser to President Donald Trump Steve Bannon will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Co. Hall, 1071 Jamison Road, Elma. National patriotic country music artist Ricky Lee will perform for attendees as the doors open at 4 p.m. The rally program will begin at 5 p.m.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, the Lewiston Council on the Arts presents "A Tribute to the Edmund Fitzgerald" at the Brickyard Brewing Company, 436 Center St., Lewiston. This multisensory/multimedia tribute will be hosted by artist and Edmund Fitzgerald enthusiast, Thomas Paul Asklar, who will commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the disaster.

In anticipation of the band's hometown shows this weekend, Grammy-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls announced the opening of a Goo Goo Dolls pop-up shop located at Oxford Pennant at 731 Main St., Buffalo. The store will sell exclusive Goo Goo Dolls Merch not available at the shows now through Sunday. The New York State Public Service Commission on Thursday approved National Grid's proposal to implement an electronic deferred-payment agreement program.
