Lewiston resident Mike Carroll has announced plans for his 10th annual Halloween Bash benefit to assist a local family in need. The event will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Brickyard Brewing Company, 436 Center St., Lewiston.
Cost is $30 per person and includes a four-hour open bar package; costume prizes; entertainment with DJ Mike Irish; and a 50/50 raffle.
"As always the proceeds from my party go to a local family in need," Carroll said.
He said this year's honoree is Janice (Johnston) Previte, the late wife of Lewiston Police Chief Frank Previte, who recently passed away after a six-month struggle with leukemia.
"All proceeds will go to her family. Everyone that attends will receive an orange 'Fight Leukemia' bracelet," Carroll said. "I'm hoping to get a big turnout to support the Johnston/Previte family."
Donations are still being accepted for the Halloween Bash. To contribute, mail to P.O. Box 188, Lewiston, NY 14092. For more information on the annual Halloween Bash, visit Carroll's page on Facebook.
