Hochul announces State Police traffic safety campaign during Thanksgiving weekend

Gov. Kathy Hochul on Tuesday announced the New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies will participate in a special traffic safety initiative to prevent unsafe driving behaviors as the winter holiday season kicks off. The Thanksgiving weekend initiative runs from Wednesday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 28.

Grand Island Town Board selects EFPR Group as auditing firm

The Grand Island Town Board voted 5-0 on Monday to hire the EFPR Group as the town's auditing firm, replacing the Bonadio Group, which has been the auditing company since 2005. The contract with the EFPR Group will be effective from fiscal year 2021 through fiscal year 2028.
