The Fresh Air Fund announces Melissa Harte of Buffalo is the new chairperson for the Northern Erie and Niagara counties area. Harte, her husband Caleb, and their children, Cameron, Landon and Alisha, started hosting through The Fresh Air Fund's volunteer host family program last summer.

Acting DOH Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker recommended high-volume hydraulic fracturing should not move forward in New York.
