Members of the New York Air National Guard's 107th Airlift Wing completed their first MQ-9 operational mission overseas, remotely piloting combat air patrols without the assistance of other Air Force or Air Guard units for the first time last month during a deployment to Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.

In celebration of its upcoming milestone, ABC will air a tribute to the Pixar Animation Studios film that ushered in a new era of computer-generated animation with the original special, "Toy Story 20th Anniversary," which is set to air in December. The special will air along with a showing of "Toy Story" that same evening.

The Village of Lewiston Board of Trustees unanimously approved a motion Monday to add an additional designation to Columbus Day. Starting this year, the second October Monday will be known as "Indigenous Peoples Day" to honor the local Native American community.

Dark skies and rainy weather only added to the ambiance Saturday at Artpark as the venue hosted its first "Hay-Man Happening!" fall festival. Children (and some brave adults) dressed up in their scariest and most creative Halloween outfits, had their faces painted, listened to monster-mashing favorite songs and grabbed a bite from some food trucks.
