The Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) is partnering with Grand Island Central School District for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 2-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25. Organizers will offer Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine; if supply is available, Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will be offered to people ages 18 and older.

During Monday's Town Board meeting, Wheatfield Supervisor Don MacSwan announced the 2022 tentative budget is set to feature a slight tax increase primarily meant to cover rising costs related to garbage and recycling services. The town had also approved a similar increase last year.

Running Club Records' multicultural worship collective, Village Lights, has released their third new song from the upcoming November debut album. The song, "Promised Land," is available now along with the debut of the music video. The song is inspired by a Zulu protest song/ South African hymn. It features the group's Ike Ndolo, who said the song is a full-circle moment for him as he recalls knowing the hymn when he was younger.
