Arts Services Initiative announces 2018 'Give for Greatness' grant awards

Arts Services Initiative of Western New York announced the recipients of the 2018 "Give for Greatness" grants. Twenty-five grants providing general operating support in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to cultural organizations across the five counties of Western New York thanks to several fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
Niagara Greenway Commission announces next round of meetings

ECHDC issues RFP for North Aud Block redevelopment at Canalside

The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. board of directors met and gave an update on plans for the redevelopment of the North Aud Block, a two-acre parcel at Canalside. A request for proposals (RFP) was issued recently seeking design, bid and construction administrative services related to the development of infrastructure facilities on the northern portion of the former Memorial Auditorium Block, also known as the North Aud Block.

The 600 block of 10th Street in front of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will be closed temporarily to thru traffic for both vehicles and pedestrians from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday as a crane is used to deliver an HVAC unit to the roof of the hospital's seven-story Schoellkopf Building (S Building).
