89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade ushers in season with nation's favorite holiday event on NBC

America's favorite holiday tradition will once again kick off the season of joy as the 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade returns to march down the streets of New York on Thursday, Nov. 26 (9 a.m.-noon in all time zones.) Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker of NBC's "Today" will anchor the broadcast.

Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz was joined by Erie County Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein as both received their annual influenza vaccine. They encouraged county residents to follow suit and get their flu vaccine early in the season, rather than wait until later.
