USA Niagara Development Corp. (USAN) on Thursday released its strategy for the redevelopment of several state-owned properties in downtown Niagara Falls acquired through Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Buffalo Billion initiative. The strategy recommends a range of intermediate steps and attainable site development guidelines for "reimagining a vibrant downtown, while building momentum for sustainable and dynamic long-term development."

The "100 Deadliest Days" is the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day when fatal teen crashes increase dramatically. Nationwide, more than 7,038 people died in crashes involving teen drivers during the "100 Deadliest Days" over a 10-year period from 2010-19. That's more than seven people a day each summer.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday announced 10 transformational projects for Niagara Falls as part of the $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative award. His camp stated, "The strategic investments will strengthen small business, support private investment in underutilized buildings, and bring new residential units, commercial space, and a hotel to the historic Bridge District.
