When talking about Niagara, Levesque himself reflects fondly on all of his years at the university. He makes it clear that although he is resigning as president, this is in no way the end of his time at Niagara or his commitment to the school.

Niagara University proudly presents "The Learned Ladies" by Moliere. This family friendly comedy was originally written in French and first premiered in 1672. This current adaptation was translated to English by Freyda Thomas and performed on a Broadway stage in the early 1990s.
NU kicks off spring sports season with rugby

Niagara University's Rugby team, which made the playoffs in the fall of 2012, is getting ready to kick off another successful season. Last fall, the team went undefeated and made it to the first round of the playoffs where NU lost to Colgate. Strong leadership and hard work from the players brought the team to be ranked at 14th in the nation. Already the players are back out practicing, playing in tournaments, fundraising and serving the community.

This past weekend, the Purple Eagles men's hockey team improved to 17-4-5. The team's 16th Atlantic Hockey Association win set a new program record for conference wins in a season. The previous record was set by the 1999-00 team with a record of 15-0-2.

The Niagara University's men's basketball team, despite its recent loss to Loyola, leads the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) thanks to a recent seven-game winning streak.

"I would be lying if I said I expected that; I knew we could win every game, but I also knew we could lose every game and that's why I think we're doing well," Niagara University's head coach Joe Milhalich said of the seven wins in a row.
