Niagara Falls Americans announce promotional schedule

The Niagara Falls Americans baseball team will kick off their inaugural season at Sal Maglie Stadium in June this summer. The Americans have officially released their promotional schedule, which includes, firework nights, $1 hot dog night, $2 beer night, giveaways, theme nights and community nights.

The Americans will open the season Friday, June 7, vs. the Batavia Muckdogs at 6:30 p.m. with post-game fireworks presented by Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Additional firework nights will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, and Thursday, July 4. The Americans will host seven giveaway nights, including free T-shirt night at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, vs. Newark. On Sunday, June 30, a doubleheader vs. Elmira starts at 2:05 p.m. Any fan who brings in a canned food good will receive a free ticket to the game. Items will benefit Heart, Love & Soul. At 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 26, vs. Buffalo, fans who bring pet food to the game will receive free entry.

Niagara Falls will have $1 hot dogs on Monday, July 15, and $2 beer night on Tuesday July 16. The Americans will honor veterans Sunday, July 21 (2 p.m. doubleheader) vs. the Auburn Doubledays with Military Appreciation Night. Fans can enjoy a special post-game catch on the field with their families Sunday, July 7, with a 4 p.m. first pitch. Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino will host Native American Heritage Night at 6:30 p.m. Friday July 12, vs. Auburn.
