Niagara Wheatfield CSD hold active shooter training drills

On the Superintendent's Conference Day on March 15, the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District hosted emergency training and active shooter drills at West Street Elementary School and Errick Road Elementary School for staff and school resource officers.
New York Power Authority upgrades HVAC, water filtration systems at Tuscarora Nation School

The New York Power Authority on Wednesday announced the completion of a new water treatment system and heating units at the Tuscarora Nation School. The energy efficiency projects at the school were made possible through an ongoing collaboration between the Tuscarora Nation, the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District and NYPA.

Kathy Hochul announced increased patrols by New York State Police and local law enforcement to combat alcohol and drug-impaired and reckless driving as celebrations for St. Patrick's Day get underway statewide. This traffic enforcement detail will run Friday, March 15, through Sunday, March 17. It is funded by the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee.
