Fashion Outlets to host pre-eclipse 'Solar Celebration' April 6

The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA is hosting a “Solar Celebration,” from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, inside Entrance 7. The pre-eclipse event is free and open to the public. The first 500 guests will receive a complimentary pair of approved solar eclipse viewing glasses to use on April 8.

The “Solar Celebration” also features a special eclipse playlist by DJ Mxn; a Niagara Falls-themed eclipse selfie station, created by Ali Price of Aliway Designs; Fashion Outlets promotional item and coupon giveaways; as well as the chance to shop for Niagara Falls and eclipse-themed merchandise, and other special sales at participating retailers.

“We invite regional and visiting guests to join the Fashion Outlets for our ‘Solar Celebration,’ on April 6, and also want to remind everyone that the mall will be open on April 8, during regular business hours (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.),” said Susan Swiatkowski, Fashion Outlets marketing manager. “Since the eclipse is a once-in-a-lifetime event, some stores may adjust their hours of operation on April 8. We encourage guests to call stores ahead of time to ask what their individual schedules might be during the eclipse itself.”
